Deep red wine with bluish tints, and lively and stylish shades. Its great aromatic intensity is an expression of fruit, such as very ripe quince and wild berries, and spices, coupled with the tobacco and vanilla nuances contributed by French oak. It feels smooth and drinkable—a full-bodied, distinctly intense wine with superb structure, featuring ripe and sweet tannins, and a long and pleasant finish. The wine expresses substantial typicity and concentration; however, it is endowed with a softness that adds to its graceful and typical character. It is indeed a varietal of remarkable structure and great ageability —a true product of Bodegas Salentein.

Its profile makes this wine an excellent choice for aged hard cheeses. It is also a great match for elaborate, seasoned and complex meals prepared with red beef. It is strongly recommended to decant this wine for 30 minutes at 16°C (61°F) before serving.
