Chardonnay

Las Sequoias “Sequoia Trees” is our estate-owned vineyard located at 1,600 meters (5,250 feet) ASL in the San Pablo Appellation, Uco Valley. 

The cold climate, vast thermal amplitude and humidity, together with stony soils rich in calcium carbonates and sustainable vineyard management, offer unique conditions to produce Chardonnay grapes of the highest quality. Winemaking with minimal intervention produces an exceptional expression of Chardonnay from this unique vineyard.

This vineyard is surrounded by a grove where two sequoia trees, unique to Mendoza, stand out against the landscape. These trees planted more than 70 years ago give a unique personality to the vineyard. 

This wine stands out for the intensity and complexity of its aroma that combine citrus peel and white flowers. The palate shows long and is very pleasant with notes of white fruits, citrus and a chalky minerality that makes it fresh and persistent.
